Veneers involve permanently reshaping tooth surfaces in most cases. Suitability, the number of teeth involved and the trip length are confirmed after your assessment. Flights are not included and are booked by the patient. Results vary by case.

Why Patients Travel

Cosmetic work is easy to sell and hard to undo

Which is exactly why where you have it done matters more than what it costs.

A regulated clinic, not a package deal

Sahara Smiles is licensed and inspected under Dubai health authority regulation, with records, consent and a complaints route that exist whether or not you are still in the country.

You see it before you commit

Digital smile design and a trial smile you can wear and photograph. If the shape, length or shade is not right, we change it at that stage — not after the teeth are prepared.

We answer after you fly home

A named coordinator on WhatsApp, plus a written record of exactly what was done and which materials were used, so any dentist at home can pick it up.

Two Ways to Travel

Most patients need one of these two trips

Your exact plan is confirmed after assessment. These are the shapes a typical case takes.

Track A

The Front Eight

Typical trip length: 5–6 days

Six to eight veneers across the teeth that actually show when you smile. The most common cosmetic case we treat for visiting patients, and usually the most natural looking result.

  • Day 1 — arrival, examination, photographs, scans and shade discussion
  • Day 2 — digital smile design reviewed together and adjusted until you approve it
  • Day 3 — teeth prepared, trial smile fitted so you can live with the shape
  • Day 4 — lab work while you are free; any shape or shade changes sent back
  • Day 5–6 — final veneers bonded, bite checked, photographs, fly home

Track B

Full Hollywood Smile

Typical trip length: 7–8 days

Sixteen to twenty units across the upper and lower smile zones, sometimes with gum recontouring. For patients changing the whole appearance of the smile rather than correcting a few teeth.

  • Day 1 — full assessment, photographs, scans, health and gum check
  • Day 2 — smile design session; gum recontouring first if the case needs it
  • Day 3 — upper preparation and trial smile fitted
  • Day 4 — lower preparation, bite recorded, time to live with the temporaries
  • Day 5–6 — lab work, refinements, review appointment
  • Day 7–8 — final units bonded, bite balanced, photographs, fly home

Timelines are typical, not guaranteed. Gum treatment, root canal work or orthodontics identified at assessment can extend a trip — we tell you before you book flights, not after you arrive.

Veneers are not reversible

Enamel does not grow back

Most veneer cases involve permanently reshaping the front surface of the tooth. Once that is done, those teeth will need a covering for the rest of your life. Any clinic that skips past this is selling, not advising.

Sometimes we recommend less

Whitening, composite bonding or aligners fix a good number of the cases people arrive asking for veneers on — at lower cost and without removing enamel. If that is your case, we will say so in the free review.

They need replacing eventually

Well-made veneers last many years with good care, but they are not permanent. Plan for maintenance, night-time protection if you grind, and eventual replacement.

We put this on the page because the patients who read it are the ones who end up happy with the result. If a clinic quoted you a full set of veneers without discussing any of the above, that is worth a second opinion — ours or anyone else's.

Who Treats You

The clinician who designs your smile is the one who fits it

Before You Book Flights

Questions patients ask us before travelling

Can I see what I will look like before you start?+

Yes, and we will not begin permanent work until you have. You approve a digital smile design first, then wear a trial smile in your own mouth so you can see the shape and length in a real face rather than on a screen. Changes at that stage are straightforward.

How many teeth do I actually need?+

Fewer than most people expect. The number depends on how wide your smile is when you smile naturally, not on a fixed package. Some patients need six, some need ten, and some are better served by whitening plus two or three veneers. The free remote review gives you an honest number before you commit to anything.

Will they look obviously fake?+

Only if that is what you ask for. Shade, translucency, length and edge shape are all chosen with you at the design stage. Bring photographs of smiles you like and smiles you do not — that conversation is more useful than any shade guide.

What if something chips or comes loose after I fly home?+

Message your coordinator on WhatsApp first — some issues are resolved with advice or a small adjustment at a local dentist, and we send them the technical details of exactly what was fitted. Where a repair or remake is needed and the case falls within our aftercare terms, we set out in writing what we cover before you travel, so you are not negotiating it after the fact.

Can this be done in fewer days?+

Sometimes, but we would rather not. Lab time and a period wearing the trial smile are what separate a result you live with happily from one you regret. If your dates are genuinely fixed, tell us at the review stage and we will say honestly whether your case can be compressed.

Do I need a visa for the UAE?+

Most UK, EU and US passport holders do not need to arrange a visa before travelling to Dubai, but entry rules depend on your nationality and can change. Check the current requirement for your passport with your own authorities before booking, and your coordinator can help with a clinic letter confirming your appointments if you need one.

How much does it cost?+

We quote one fixed all-inclusive price per case rather than publishing a headline number, because the number of teeth and the material change the figure significantly. You receive a written quote in your own currency after the remote review, and it does not change unless you change the treatment plan.

Start with a photo. Nothing else is committed.

Send us a photo of your smile and we will tell you what is realistic, how many teeth are involved, how long you would need in Dubai, and what it would cost — before you look at a single flight.
